LAPAROSCOPIC COURSE IN COLORECTAL SURGERY

Dear Colleagues,

Between 5 May 2017 and 5 May 2019, the "Victor Babes" University of Medicine and Pharmacy Timisoara, in collaboration with General Hospital "Sveti Luka" Smederevo will organize laparoscopic surgery courses with the following topics:

• Appendix and gallbladder (laparoscopic appendectomy and laparoscopic cholecystectomy);
• Hernias (laparoscopic hernia surgery);
• Colon and rectum (colectomies).

The courses are addressed to expert surgeons from the Romania-Serbia cross-border area, including the following departments: Timis, Caras-Severin, Mehedinti, North Banat, Central Banat, South Banat, Borski, Branicevski, Podunavski.

For the surgeons to be eligible to attend the courses, they must have the experience of a minimum of 100 laparoscopic abdominal surgeries and they must be the employees of a hospital equipped with at least basic laparoscopic instruments.

Participation to the courses will be free, as the activity is being financed under the IMASS project through the INTERREG-IPA CBC Romania-Serbia Program. In attachment you will find the curricula of the third course module with the theme: Laparoscopic course in colorectal surgery.

Please propose one of your expert surgeons (that fulfills the eligibility criteria presented above) to attend the third course module, organized this April with the topic “Laparoscopic colorectal surgery”.

The proposals can be sent through the registration form below, before the 10 of April.

If the proposals will exceed our current training capacity, we reserve the right to make a selection. The expert surgeons not selected for the current module will be considered for the following ones.
